Full Description
Roman, medieval, and post medieval pottery were found in trenches dug before the building of a house extension, no features were observed. The pottery included 3 Black Burnished ware sherds and a piece of Roman grey ware. There were also 6 sherds from handmade cooking pots dated to the 11th and 12th centuries, comparable with similar material recorded from Wareham to Corfe Castle. (1)
