a, b, & c; classified as bowl barrows, but no details given. <2>

'b' has a diameter of 15.6m and a height of 1.7m and has no surrounding ditch. It has been mutilated in the Northern quadrant by a military slit trench. A heather covered bowl barrow. <3>

'B' - (21) - SY 83689403 Bowl barrow, 50ft diameter and 4 1/2ft high. <5>

"SY 837942. Group of six round barrows on Black Hill. Scheduled". (see also SY 89 SW 14 & 16) <6>

Four bowl barrows on heathland generally as described by authority 5. 'B' SY 83679402. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <7>

A Bronze Age bowl barrow, one of the Black Hill Group, is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery <8>. The barrow is formed of a sub-oval mound measuring 12 m by 9 m. It is scheduled together with five other barrows on Black Hill (see linked records) of which five could be seen on lidar imagery. This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
