Full Description
SY 69459518. A bowl barrow. Diameter 17 paces. Height 2ft. Information from RCHM. <1>
SY 69449518. A cairn, many of the flints from it being scattered over a wide area of a grass field. Diameter 16.0m; height 0.6m.<2>
Auth 2 correct though the feature is grass covered and has the appearance of a bowl barrow in contrast to cairns built entirely of stone. <3>
SY 69459518. Bowl barrow, 50 ft diameter and 2ft high, situated 200 yds west of Wolfeton Clump. <4>
Ploughed down barrow 18.4m in diameter and 0.3m high. Revised at 1:2500 on MSD. <6>
The barrow is visible as a very low slightly elliptical earthwork 16m by 13m on current Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <8>
