SY 68949570. Barrow? 45ft diameter and 4.5ft high, disturbed by digging immediately below it on the north side. <3>
A mound 11.8m. in diameter and 1.3m. high with no visible ditch. It has the appearance of a bowl barrow much mutilated on the NE side, with a shallow solution hollow on its northern edge. Revised at 1:2500 on MSD. <4>
The barrow has been disturbed by digging immediately below it on its north side. The barrow is visible as a slightly elliptical earthwork 14.5m by 12.5m on current Environment Agency lidar imagery, where there is also the suggestion of an outer ditch (particularly on the multi hillshade visualisation) [1]. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <5>
