Monument record MDO773 - Bowl barrow, one of the Bushy Eweleaze Group, Charminster

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1970 the monument was recorded as being some 20 feet in diameter and two and a half feet high before ploughing. The barrow is visible as a sub-circular 26m in diameter earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
