Full Description
A bowl barrow, 16 paces diameter, 3ft high. <2>
A bowl barrow. Diameter 23.0m, height 1.0m taken to the west. The plough has exposed a quantity of probable RB pottery and `U' brickwork scattered over the mound, but none outside. No ditch. <3>
SY 67469556. Bowl barrow, heavily ploughed, but about 50ft diameter and 2.5ft high situated near the summit of a spur, east of Forston Field Bottom. <4>
Ploughed down; measures 19.6m in diameter and up to 1.0m high on its lower east side. Revised at 1:2500 on MSD. <5>
The barrow is visible as a sub-circular 25m in diameter earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <7>
