Another possible barrow west of the track and on the north side of an old (?clay) pit is visible at 'D' SY 95638381. <1>

A possible barrow west of the track from the Corfe Wareham road to Scotland Farm and on the north side of an old possible clay pit. (1) Probable Bowl Barrow - though may be upcast from an adjacent pond.(2-3)

One of four possible burial mounds in the vicinity of the clay pit 112,363. It was identified as an archaeological site in 1954 but was not traceable when visited 28/10/1987. The site was probably the result of upcast from the clay pit as the O.S. 1” – 25” map shows a spread of quarry spoil across the site.
