Summary

Possible Bronze Age bowl barrow on Black Hill, recorded during survey work by the Central Excavation Unit in 1981-82, recorded as measuring 10.2 metres in diameter and 0.6 metres high. The feature is discernable as a ring ditched cropmark on a 2015 aerial photograph and as a low earthwork mound on Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

Possible Bronze Age bowl barrow on Black Hill, recorded during survey work by the Central Excavation Unit in 1981-82, recorded as measuring 10.2 metres in diameter and 0.6 metres high.

The feature is discernable as a ring ditched cropmark on a 2015 aerial photograph and as a low earthwork mound on Environment Agency lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <2, 3>
