Full Description

<1> Cox, P W, 1996, An Archaeological Evaluation of a Proposed Residential Development at 88 West Street, Bere Regis, Dorset (Unpublished document). SDO13174.

'The significance of the two sherds of Iron Age pottery is difficult to assess, although may indicate archaeological activity within the vicinity, but not necessarily within the proposed development site. The material could have travelled some distance to this position, such is the steepness of the hillslope in this area.'
