Full Description
A bowl barrow at ST 67670474 ('A'), 42ft in diameter and 2ft high, has most of the top dug away. <2-3)>
Although currently pasture, this area has recently been arable and barrow 'A' has been completely destroyed. <4>
The feature is visible as a low sub-circular 10.6m in diameter mound on a 1948 aerial photograph and possibly even more degraded on Environment Agency lidar imagery. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <8, 9>
