Monument record MDO5216 - Medieval field system, Winterborne Clenston

Fragments of a medieval field system with associated ridge and furrow are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in fields to the west of the River Winterborne, west of St Nicholas's Church. It is considered to be the field system associated with the former village of Nicholson which is described separately in records MDO5223 and MDO5217. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
