‘5.6 The parish boundary between Tarrant Hinton and Tarrant Launceston is of Medieval date (site 21). This survives north of the Long Barrow as a hedged boundary running along a lynchet. The boundary ditch to the west of the area (site 14) may represent a Medieval estate boundary prior to its later incorporation as a parish boundary.’
