Full Description
A semi-circular fenced enclosure is visible on the northwest side of Blandford Camp on 1940s aerial photographs [2-4]. The feature is within an area of First and Second World War earthworks probably used for military training and may be a barbed wire entanglement used for military training purposes. A similar semi-circular enclosure (MDO5006) to the south is visible on the same 1940s aerial photographs, along with a larger sub-oval enclosure of similar character to the east near Telegraph Clump (MDO44897). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
