Full Description
The potential site of a large prehistoric curvilinear banked enclosure is visible as earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs on the west-facing slopes of Plush Hill, Piddletrenthide. The enclosure is 190m by 130m across and may be a settlement-related or stock enclosure; or simply part of the wider field system within which it sits (MDO49791). It was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (Environment Agency 2023, OS 1974,)
