Summary

The extensive remains of a well-preserved later prehistoric field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Incombe Wood, Piddletrenthide. The features form part of a wider system of fields which extends to the south in MDO49066. They cover an area of over 20 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

The extensive remains of a well-preserved later prehistoric field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Incombe Wood, Piddletrenthide. The features form part of a wider system of fields which extends to the southn in MDO49065. They cover an area of over 20 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. <1>
