Full Description
An old chalk pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the northwest of King Grove Wood, Piddletrenthide. It is one of a wider scatter of hollows visible on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.[1-2]
