Summary
A dispersed group of five small hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the modern field to the west of Well Bottom, Piddletrenthide. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

Full Description
A dispersed group of five small hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the modern field to the west of Well Bottom, Piddletrenthide. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. [1]
