Full Description
The sites of three small chalk pits are marked on the OS 1st edition map to the southeast of Well Botton Down, Piddletrenthide. They are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. They are part of a wider scatter of pits. [1-2].
