Summary

A sub-circular banked feature on East Hill is visible as 15m in diameter earthwork on aerial photographs and on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is located between two probable Bronze Age bowl barrows (MDO1736 and MDO1740) and could potentially be another Bronze Age bowl barrow at this location.It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

Full Description

A sub-circular banked feature on East Hill is visible as 15m in diameter earthwork on aerial photographs and on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2, 3]. The feature
appears potentially disturbed. It is located between two probable Bronze Age bowl barrows (MDO1736 and MDO1740) and could potentially be another Bronze Age bowl barrow at this location. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
