Monument record MDO49007 - Post medieval chalk pit, Bow's Hill, Nether Cerne

A post medieval chalk pit to the east of Bow's Hill, Nether Cerne, is visible as a soilmark on 2020 Google Earth imagery and as a very slight earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is recorded as an old chalk pit on the OS 1st Edition map. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
