Full Description

Two parallel banked linears are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery running along the slope at the eastern end of Little Puddle Bottom, Piddlehinton. The features appear to underly the medieval cultivation marks described in MDO1893 and are therefore considered to be prehistoric strip lynchets. They were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <1>
