Summary

The extensive remains of a medieval field system with associated ridge and furrow cultivation is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of the River Piddle and south of Combe Bottom, in the vicinity of Parsonage Barn, Piddlehinton. The features cover an area of over 28 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

The extensive remains of a medieval field system with associated ridge and furrow cultivation is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of the River Piddle and south of Combe Bottom, in the vicinity of Parsonage Barn, Piddlehinton.
