Full Description
A scatter of banked field boundaries is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery across several modern fields to the south and west of Pat's Castle, Piddletrenthide. The features are considered likely to be the fragmented remains of a later prehistoric field system although some of the boundaries may be medieval or later in origin, they cover an area of over 30 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <1>
