Full Description
Several ditched and banked linear features to the northwest of Forston Higher Farm, Charminster, are visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs [1]. The features appear to overlie part of a later prehistoric field system (MDO790), suggesting they post-date this. They could be trackways of potentially medieval to post medieval date, although a later prehistoric origin is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
