Full Description
A partial rectilinear ditched enclosure to the northwest of Forston Higher Farm, Charminster, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs [1]. The feature is up to 45m by 40m; the east side is not visible. It could potentially be later prehistoric in origin, perhaps of Iron Age to Roman date. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
