Summary

A wide scatter of linear ditches and associated pits are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in the field immediately to the south of Piddlehinton Enterprise Park. They are of uncertain date and may be associated with the second world war D-Day marshalling camp immediately to the north (MDO48860), or of much earlier (possibly prehistoric) origin. The features were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

A wide scatter of linear ditches and associated pits are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs in the field immediately to the south of Piddlehinton Enterprise Park. They are of uncertain date and may be associated with the second world war D-Day marshalling camp immediately to the north (MDO48860), or of much earlier (possibly prehistoric) origin. The features were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <1-2>
