Summary

A large curvilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks to the northwest of Laycock Farm, Puddletown. Is 168m across and crosses into Piddlehinton parish on its northern side. The feature is situated on the southern edge of a dry valley and is considered likely to be of later prehistoric date, possibly Bronze Age; it was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

A large curvilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks to the northwest of Laycock Farm, Puddletown. Is 168m across and crosses into Piddlehinton parish on its northern side. The feature is situated on the southern edge of a dry valley and is considered likely to be of later prehistoric date, possibly Bronze Age; it was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.<1>
