Summary

A long linear bank and ditched field boundary is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs crossing Mullett's Drove, Piddletrenthide before zig-zagging across two fields in a southeast direction. A rectilinear enclosure abuts it on its southeast end and a second shorter linear is situated to the west of the enclosure. The features cover an area of over 6 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

Full Description

A long linear bank and ditched field boundary is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs crossing Mullett's Drove, Piddletrenthide before zig-zagging across two fields in a southeast direction. A rectilinear enclosure abuts it on its southeast end and a second shorter linear is situated to the west of the enclosure. The features cover an area of over 6 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.<1-2>
