Full Description
The remains of an Iron Age or Romano British field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on Whitecombe Hill, Piddletrenthide. The features extend into Cheselbourne parish and cover an area of over 58 hectares, they continue into MDO48885 to the east and are an extension of the wider field system described in MDO1911. The features were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <1>
