Full Description
A sub-oval ditched enclosure and adjacent ditched linear features in a field to the west of Forston, Charminster, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs [1]. The features are considered likely to later prehistoric, possibly Iron Age to Roman, in date. They are within part of a later prehistoric field system recorded under MDO789 and might be associated. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
