Full Description
The site of a ring ditch 13m across is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1971 at the northern end of Hog Leaze, Piddletrenthide. It is situated immediately to the southeast of the enclosure described in MDO48879 and may be the site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow, or a later prehistoric hut circle. The enclosure was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.<1>
