Summary
A sub-circular mound 12.5m in diameter on the east side of Stratton Down, Stratton, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature could potentially be a Bronze Age bowl barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. A second possible barrow (MDO48873) is located just 20m to the southwest.

A sub-circular mound 12.5m in diameter on the east side of Stratton Down, Stratton, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature could potentially be a Bronze Age bowl barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. A second possible barrow (MDO48873) is located just 20m to the southwest.
