Full Description
Extensive remains of an Iron Age or Romano British field system are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery. The features cover an area of over 110 hectares running northwards from Cheselbourne West Down to the east of the dry valley forming the western boundary of the parish. It forms part of a wider field system described in MDO1911 and was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <1-3>
