Summary

Extensive remains of an Iron Age or Romano British field system are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in fields to the east and north of Bourne Farm, Piddlehinton. The features cover an area of over 90 hectares. They form part of a wider field system described in MDO1911 and were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

Extensive remains of an Iron Age or Romano British field system are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in fields to the east and north of Bourne Farm, Piddlehinton. The features cover an area of over 90 hectares. They form part of a wider field system described in MDO1911 and were digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. <1-4>
