Full Description
The site of a WWII military camp is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 <1>. Some of the buildings associated with the second world war D-Day marshalling camp D6, Piddlehinton are still extant and form part of Piddlehinton Enterprise Park <2>. The camp was digitally recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project. Several military-style buidings are located in the field immediately to the south of the main camp, these are considered likely to be outliers associated with it.
