An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 5th edition map to the west of Hill's Copse, Puddletown. It is considered likely to be a 19th or early 20th century chalk pit and is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. It was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project along with a second smaller pit in the same modern field.

An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 5th edition map to the west of Hill's Copse, Puddletown. It is considered likely to be a 19th or early 20th century chalk pit and is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. It was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project along with a second smaller pit in the same modern field. <1-2>
