Full Description
An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 5th edition map to the west of Hill's Copse, Puddletown. It is considered likely to be a 19th or early 20th century chalk pit and is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. It was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project along with a second smaller pit in the same modern field. <1-2>
