Full Description
An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 5th edition map within Druce Hangings, Puddletown. It is considered likely to be a 19th or early 20th century chalk pit and is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. It was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; a second pit is visible to the north of the first. <1-2>
