Full Description
A concentration of post medieval chalk pits in a field to the northeast of Jackman's Cross, Stratton, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
