Full Description
An area of rectilinear banks and lynchets to the west of Godmanstone, is visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are possibly part of a medieval field system but might include earlier features of potentially Iron Age-Romano-British origin, associated with field system (MDO1743). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
