Full Description
The site of an Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the southern edge of the dry valley to the south of Little Puddle Hill farm, Piddlehinton <1>. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery <2> and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. Three additional pits are situated in the vicinity.
