Summary
The site of an Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the southern edge of the dry valley to the west of Muston Farm, Piddlehinton. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. Three additional pits are situated further up the valley to the southwest.

Full Description
The site of an Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the southern edge of the dry valley to the west of Muston Farm, Piddlehinton ,1>. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery <2> and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. Three additional pits are situated further up the valley to the southwest.
