Summary

The sites of two Chalk Pits (one likely disused) are marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of Little Puddle Hill Farm, Piddlehinton. They are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and cropmarks on aerial photographs and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM. They are associated with a linear series of spoil heaps and two additional pits to the west.

The sites of two Chalk Pits (one likely disused) are marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of Little Puddle Hill Farm, Piddlehinton. They are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and cropmarks on aerial photographs and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM.
