Full Description
The sites of two Chalk Pits (one likely disused) are marked on the OS 1st edition map to the east Higher Burton Down, Piddlehinton <1>. They are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery <2> and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
