Full Description
A post medieval water meadow to the south of Forston, Charminster, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The water meadow extends for over 500m along the River Cerne and links into additional channels and sluices shown on the OS 1st Edition map [3]. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
