A post medieval water meadow to the south of Forston, Charminster, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

A post medieval water meadow to the south of Forston, Charminster, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The water meadow extends for over 500m along the River Cerne and links into additional channels and sluices shown on the OS 1st Edition map [3]. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
