Full Description
A post medieval water meadow to the south of Godmanstone is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2, 3]. The water meadow extends for over 1km along the River Cerne and links into additional channels and sluices shown on the OS 1st Edition map [4]. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
