Summary

Fragments of a rectilinear banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of Dewlish Village. The features cover an area of over 22 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; it forms part of a much larger prehistoric field system which extends to the east in record MDO48651.

Fragments of a rectilinear banked field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of Dewlish Village <1>. The features cover an area of over 22 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; it forms part of a much larger prehistoric field system which extends to the east in record MDO48651.
