Summary

The fragmented remains of a rectilinear field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery at the northwest end of Milborne Wood, Milborne St Andrew. The field system covers an area of over 4 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; it forms part of a much larger prehistoric field system which extends to the south in record MDO48610 and to the north in MDO48651.

The fragmented remains of a rectilinear field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery at the northwest end of Milborne Wood, Milborne St Andrew <1>. The field system covers an area of over 4 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; it forms part of a much larger prehistoric field system which extends to the south in record MDO48610 and to the north in MDO48651.
