Summary

Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in fields at the north east end of Dewlish parish, near the boundary between Milborne St Andrew and Milton Abbas. They are of uncertain date but potentially of prehistoric origin. The features extend over 4 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project, they are a continuation of the features described in MDO48638.

Banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in fields at the north east end of Dewlish parish, near the boundary between Milborne St Andrew and Milton Abbas <1>. They are of uncertain date but potentially of prehistoric origin. The features extend over 4 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project, they are a continuation of the features described in MDO48638.
