Summary

Extensive fragments of a banked and ditched field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and cropmarks on aerial photographs to the southeast of Little Down House, Milton Abbas. The features cover an area of over 31 hectares; they are considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman date and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

Extensive fragments of a banked and ditched field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and cropmarks on aerial photographs to the southeast of Little Down House, Milton Abbas <1-3>. The features cover an area of over 31 hectares; they are considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman date and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
