The features are considered likely to be of medieval ot later date and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; they cover an area of over 4 hectares.

Fragments of a banked and ditched field system are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and cropmarks on aerial photographs in fields to the west of The Old Rectory, Cheselbourne <1-2>. The features are considered likely to be of medieval ot later date and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; they cover an area of over 4 hectares.
